I have always believed that real estate is more about community than almost anything else.
That’s because when someone buys a property, it’s because they have recognised that the local community is somewhere where they want to live.
I’ve been a real estate agent and agency principal and business owner in Ipswich my whole career.
I started out way back in 1991 as a sales agent, which is when I began to understand the important role that community plays in real estate.
A decade later, I launched LJ Hooker Ipswich, which saw me oversee 21 sales and property management staff, as well as help to grow an impressive rent roll.
This business went on to win multiple awards for excellence.
By 2009, I had launched my own agency, Boettcher Realty, which was one of the most successful real estate agencies in the Ipswich region.
In late 2018, I merged my business with LJ Hooker Ipswich, and have continued to commit to ethics and professionalism.
Throughout the past three decades, I’ve witnessed our community change and grow, and I have been proud to be a part of its evolution.
I’ve also helped thousands of people realise their property dreams over the years and have sold more than 2600 properties.
My family relations have been active members of the Ipswich community for decades – first with car dealership back in 1963 and in real estate from 1971.
I’ve always had a love of rugby league and am proud to be a board member of Ipswich Rugby League, which involves organising some 4,500 players across some 17 clubs in our region – no easy feat as you can imagine!
I’m a lifetime member of the multimillion-dollar chapter of LJ Hooker’s Captain’s Club and a two-time winner of the LJ Hooker World Champion Personal Sales Award.
I was the REIQ’s Ipswich Zone Chairman from 2009 to 2020, which is a record for Ipswich.
I am now a board member of the Sales Chapter of the REIQ.
I have always wanted to help give back to an industry, and to a region, that I have loved for decades – and will for many more years to come.
